Jay's Packard Club 3D pictures page

These pictures from the Paackard Club's 2009 Fall Meeting are 3D Anaglyph pictures. In order to view these pictures in 3D, you need a pair of red/cyan anaglyph glasses. These are the same glasses that some of the new 3D movies require. If you don't have a pair, e-mail me your name and address and I'll send you a pair for $1.75, including first class postage. my e-mail address is altmanj at mindspring dot com. Use the "at" symbol and the period, of course, and no spaces. Use the "at" symbol and the period, of course, and no spaces. If you have a paypal account, you can send me the $1.75 at my e-mail address, and that will also let you tell me your name and address for mailing the glasses. I am putting up my e-mail address this way to prevent spam bots from discovering it and sending me lots of junk mail.

To view any picture, just click on its thumbnail in the listing below. It will open up in a new page in your browser as large as possible. After looking at any picture, just click on your browser's back button to return to this page and the list of images to select another.

If you are using a current version of Internet Explorer (Version 8) or Firefox (Version 3.x), you may click anywhere in one of the pictures to zoom in on that point. A second click returns to the full sized image. The "BACK" button returns you to this page.

Jed's 1956 If you have a stereoscope similar to the one at the left, click on the stereoscope picture to download a PDF file you can print on good quality photo paper stock to make three Holmes style stereo cards. Cut the three stereo cards from the 8-1/2" x 11" page that you print and you can then put them into your viewer for full color stereoscopic viewing. You may also look at the cards on your computer screen if you like. If you zoom your screen so that the cards do not display wider than about six actual inches on your screen, you may be able to "free view" them.

More 3D pictures will be posted by the end of the first week on November. I shot most of the 3D pictures with my old 1953 Revere stereo camera, and that film must be specially processed. No place local develops slide film any more, so I had to mail it off for processing. Once I get the uncut and unmounted slides back, I can scan them and post the pictures. Check back in a few days to see if I have any more posted.
